| I spec'd a Press Fit 30 (PF30) Bottom Bracket shell. The PF30 Shell will allow me to use the super light, narrow q-factor, SRAM RED PF30 BB and Crankset. |

| The pear to pentagonal shaped down tube decreases torsional flex in the head tube bottom bracket area. |

| Another step taken to minimize flex are the Steel DARKSTAR's machined, hooded dropouts. |

| This bike will have SRAM Red and a PRO bar/stem combo. |

| The 44mm head tube allows me to use a super stiff, tapered, carbon fork. I should have inverted the star logo. |

| The water bottle bosses are brazed not rivited, which is a really nice feature as you'll never have to worry about rivet failure. |

| Also, the down tube cable stops are brazed on and do not accept barrel adjusters. |

| The DARKSTAR Steel comes with an aluminum, replaceable derailleur hanger. |

| Cost on a custom steel DARKSTAR Frame and ENVE Tapered Fork is 2600USD. |
